WEF

WEF feature to retrieve Windows Events on Console reconnects

ConsoleWorks now 'Bookmarks' the date/time where it last received data from Windows Event Forwarders when a remote network goes offline, or communication is otherwise interrupted. Once communication is restored ConsoleWorks will now attempt to continue reading Windows event logs at the place that it left off rather than continuing at the most recent event.

Remote WEF and Remote PowerShell Connectors

Version Info: ConsoleWorks 5.0 (or later) is required to use Remote WEF and Remote PowerShell Connectors. (Not available on the OpenVMS Platform)

ConsoleWorks PowerShell Console

The Windows Event Forwarder (WEF) can be used to create a ConsoleWorks Server PowerShell console. The PowerShell console allows a ConsoleWorks user to interact with Windows PowerShell® on the system that the WEF is running on. The PowerShell console will allow you to enter Windows PowerShell® commands, scripts, and cmdlets. The Windows PowerShell® output is then redirected back to the ConsoleWorks PowerShell console for logging, scanning and display to any user connected to the console.
